armadas and invading entities
with so many different types of armadas now as well as invading entities this is a quick reference for the types and differences

invading entities
while invading entities like the saris and krenem ones look like an armada, have the same starting mechanic they aren't actually armadas so crewing is different which has been addressed in the crew guides
saris invading entities can be found in this area (the green parts aren't there unless there is an ongoing invasion so these are only available at certain times, you combat these with a single ship

to start these you need blue particle accelerator's which you can obtain through the saris invasion events and its event store
krenem invading entities are available the whole time and can be found in this area of the delta quadrant, these you use two of your own ships but you need the antI static or anti charged state active from either the exocomp or the relativity

.png)
.png)
to start the invading entities you use the temporal incursion directives from the daily free claim in the dti faction store, you also get a free claim of dti requisition forms that you can use to get the anti static and anti charged exocomps
.png)
to activate the anti static or anti charged state its these buttons here if your using the relativity as one of your ships just make sure you use the right one
.png)
.png)
.png)
if your not using a relativity as one of your ships you need to activate an anti static or antio charged exocomp to take on the static or charged invading entities
.png)
.png)
.png)
the rewards from the invading entities are static temporal credits, charged temporal credits and encrypted intelligence

borg expansion cube
borg expansion cunes are an offshoot of the borg solo armadas and need you to kill a borg solo armada before you can kill one of them. When you kill a borg solo armada your talios will get the foreknowledge exocomp which allows it to stop an expansion cube using its big weapon.
you will also need to do the vinculum scrapper research or you wont get much loot from these
.png)
you can find the first borg expansion cubes here
.png)
.png)
.png)

borg group and megacube
these were both introduced well before the talios was so if you have even one tgalios taking part both are really easy
borg armadas and the megacube both borg group armadas and the megacube can be found in these system
.png)
both of these arnadfas only really haver one use now during return of the megacube event but the geroup armadas will only be part of your sms event if your under lvl 36 and the megacube event gives you 10 megacube directives if you spend 10 ,egacube directives so a bit of astrange one but both will score for the alb

borg solo
before you take on borg solos armadas you need to do this research, depending on what faction ships your using or if your using an iss jellyfish.
The research will give ships you have obtained through the fed rom and klingon faction stores and the iss jellyfish the same boost against these as a vidar or vidar talios, so a if your three most powerful ships are all federation ships for instance the fed version of the research will mean using those three fed shies is like using three talios'

.png)
the borg solo armadas start here next to an expansion cube system which makes it very helpful if your using the solo to get the talios buff

borg type 3 solos & borg polygon 1 groups
the borg type 30. and borg polygon 1. group armadas can be found in these areas, they will needa revenant to beat the solos and at least one in the group's to beat them
.png)
you need to target the right evolution lvl as well as the right power lvl with the revenant.
tier 1-5 mk 1 revenant
borg type 03.0 (solo arnadas)
borg polygon 1.0 (group armadas}

*solo armadas are done with only one ship the revenant on its own
this is a type 30.0 and is taken on solo with only one ship so you will need the revenant
.png)
this borg polygon 1.0 is a group armada so you can use other ships as part of the group but you will need at least one revenant as part of the group
.png)

cardassian
cardassian armadas can be found in this area and do have a difference compared to the normal fkr armadas that they are harder to kill, the normal aim for half power isnt as straight forward on these as they rely on your research and our alliance starbase.
*these are also important for the whole alliance since it helps us upgrade the alliance starbase
.png)
.png)
after doing some of the cardassian armadas you can open these chests, the resistance bounties chest is opened with common cardassian credits. alliance altruism and maquis bounties are opened with superior cardassian credits that come from rare and epic cardassian armadas

the alliance as a whole will receive what we need to upgrade the alliance starbase so by doing these it helps everyone
.png)
you will also gain alliance rep from cardassian armadas
.png)
you will receive assembly medals from those chests that you can spend on research here that will make taking on bigger cardassian armadas easier
.png)
.png)

dominion solo
dominion solo armadas can be found in this area here and will come un uncomm, rare and epic, you don't need the defiant to take them on but if you use it then one of the sets of loot will be increased the dominion solo armada edicts but the credts will stay the same so if your defiant isn't that strong it might be better hitting higher with your three most powerful ships

federation, romulan & klingon (fkr)
despite being the most used and the most prominent of armadas there is no real difference from the ones of low lvl in neutral space to the high g5 ones its all the same, can be found throughout fed rom and klingon space as well as some in neutral space. numbers depend on the armada leaders armada control centre lvl (if you get a new acc its best to wait until its lvl 20 before you start armadas then you have you +3, lvl 30 you +4 lvl 39 you +5 and lvl 50 you + 6 others) you don't need as much power to take them on as you think. at the very most you need half the power of the armada between the ships taking part and that's only as high as half if its lower lvl players it can drop a lot lower than that if you get crews right and you have decent research

*one thing to remember credits are based on ship power taking part so if you send an overpowered ship you take away most of the credits
.png)
most armadas will depend on the leaders acc for the amount of members who can take part

formation
formation armadas are different to normal group armadas due to the fact the armada control centre plays no part in them, the normal boost it gives to numbers taking part and damage boost doesn't work on these. each formation armada node takes four players the starter +3, rewards from these are much better if you destroy all sides at the same time and that can be done by up to three different alliances together. Directives for these are found in your daily goals and for the rares in your weekly loyalty chest
.png)
.png)
the rares are found over to the right from the uncommom
.png)
the loot from these armadas can be spent in the convert section of your artifact gallery

G6 solo
the newer fed rom and klingon g6 armadas can be found throughout g6 space (careful of the hazard systems) and will offer g6 uncomm, rare and epic credits.
like older solos these are a three ship armada that you can take on with your best three ships, range can be an issue early on especially for the rare ones but there are systems you can put your station in to do those.
*check out the star trek database to find the sytem info the link is in our hints and tip
.png)
.png)
.png)
these g6 chests do offer some really good rewards from g5 and g6 materials, sigma speed up, sigma resources, g5 and g6 ship parts galactic acclaim and hazard particles for g6 research

krenem formation
the krenem formation are just to the right of the normal rare formations, the difference between these and normal formations is the static and charged states they have
.png)
every krenem formation armada has one static side one charged side and a neutral side, the static and charged sides work like the invading entities you need the anti static or anti charged state either from an exocomp or the relativirty however the neutral side doesn't need and state to defeat that
.png)
you get the directives to start the krenem formation armadas in the dti store by spending static or charged credits that you can acquire from the invading entities loot
.png)
the rewards for the krenem formation armadas are krenem temporal wreckage and krenem quantum tech
*both invading entitites and formation armadas have encrypted intelligence
.png)
.png)

stella
stella or exchange armadas can be found in this area here, you will need to do these for the uncomm, rare and epic credits which will be used to get the uranium to upgrade the stella.
.png)
.png)
since this was one of the first real loops there isn't a lot to it just trade your credits for uranium here and tier up the stella to scrap and rebuild it for stella particles.
*stella scraping has been covered more in the stella ship guide

texas class
also known as automated shipyards, these are for the monaveen and a good way to get extra gas,ore and crystal
they can be found to the left of federation space here, remember these also have revenge hostiles here so if your doing these and you don't deal with those it could hit at the wrong time
these are three ship solo armadas and although you don't need to use the monaveen it does offer a damage boost
.png)
with the shipyard credits you receive you can open the automated shipyard exchange chest for gas, crystal and ore up to g5
